Drew reviews the singer as a complete instrument, including the sound, visible coordination, breath behavior, physical preparation, bracing, confidence, and the way difficult moments are approached.

Your Voice Discovery includes Full Access to HIM Scale Builder for the supported life of the software. Customers who purchase under this introductory offer will retain access to updates and newly released features covered by their license at no additional charge, even if the price or purchase terms later change for new customers.
Access remains subject to the applicable Voice Discovery and Scale Builder Terms and Conditions.
Why the Performance Must Be a Cappella
Background music can conceal pitch relationships, timing choices, breath behavior, volume changes, and the physical preparation that occurs before difficult notes. Production can also make it difficult to distinguish the singer’s actual coordination from the recording surrounding them.
An a cappella submission allows Drew to hear and observe the human instrument directly. You may listen to your reference song privately through earbuds on another device, but the music should not be audible in the submitted recording.
How It Works
Purchase and Complete Intake
Beginning July 30, complete the eligibility and background form within seven calendar days of purchase.
Submit Your Video
Follow the private upload instructions provided after purchase.
Receive Your Review
Once your complete intake and a usable, eligible video have been accepted, the five-business-day delivery period begins.
Approximately two weeks later, you will have one 15-minute follow-up phone call to discuss the plan and your next steps.
Safety and Eligibility
The HIM Voice Discovery is an educational vocal-training service. It is not medical diagnosis, medical treatment, or vocal rehabilitation.
People with a disqualifying medical condition or unresolved symptoms that make remote vocal training inappropriate are not eligible for online Voice Discovery services.
Anyone experiencing vocal pain, persistent hoarseness, unexplained loss of voice, difficulty breathing or swallowing, or another concerning symptom should stop training and seek an evaluation from a qualified ear, nose, and throat physician or another appropriate medical professional.
A training plan cannot safely substitute for a medical evaluation.
The intake process includes eligibility questions designed to identify circumstances where an online service would not be appropriate.
Privacy
Your source video is used only to prepare your Voice Discovery and is deleted when your final package is delivered, normally within the five-business-day delivery process.
Your final materials are delivered privately. Minimal pseudonymous coaching records may be retained for continuity, but unnecessary personal, video, and medical information is not kept.
